It’s Throwback Thursday and SwimDaily is paying tribute to a legend – Paulina Porizkova. The Czech-born model appeared on the cover of the 1984 SI Swimsuit issue at the age of 18 and became just the second woman (after Christie Brinkley) to be featured on consecutive covers the next year. She was twice chosen by People as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the World (1990, 1992) and is still known as one of the most famous models of the ’80s and ’90s. She later appeared as a judge on American’s Next Top Model and a contestant on Dancing With the Stars in 2007. She’s currently married to Ric Ocasek, lead singer for The Cars.
